The Midwest Regional Rally (MRR) is an ASABE preprofessional conference held annually at different schools across the Midwest Region. In 2008 the UW-Madison Student Branch will be hosting MRR on February 29 th through March 1st . Every year the number of students attending this conference has grown a great deal. In 2008 we plan on maintaining this tradition and expect to host 60 or more students.
This conference brings together students from across the region to experience the hosting University's campus, as well as the diverse industrial opportunities of the surrounding area. Some of the tours planned for the 2008 MRR include Berres Brothers Coffee, Camp Randal Stadium, and Renew Energies Ethanol Facility. Along with the tours and social events, a business meeting is held where the new Midwest Regional officers and following year's event site are chosen. This event gives future engineers the opportunity to explore different aspects of the field in which they are about to embark upon.
Thank you for helping make the 2008 MMR a success! Pictures
from the event will be posted here soon.
