Badger Pulling is a sub-organization of the University of Wisconsin ASABE (American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers) Pre-professionals. Every year we build a quarter scale pulling tractor to compete with other universities at the annual ASABE International Quarter Scale Tractor Pulling Competition. We strive to design and build an innovative, and practical, tractor each year. In doing so all members of the team gain invaluable practical experience to put to use in their careers as the future engineers of the agricultural industry.

All of our tractors use the Briggs and Stratton 16hp twin-V engine required for the competition, but our drive-trains have ranged from standard gearbox transmissions, to hydraulic, CVT (continuously variable transmission), and hybrid electric, always trying to use the latest technology, and design a vehicle that will turn heads at competition. All of the students involved with the Quartar Scale Tractor Team would like to thank our local sponsors, who make this great experience possible with their generous donations.
